\nThere may have been a tad too much optimism in that last post.\u00c2\u00a0 Yes we love road trips and yes I was excited to see Chicago… but I never did.\u00c2\u00a0 You see, there is one big downfall to roadtrips on the summer.\u00c2\u00a0 Road construction.\u00c2\u00a0 Lots of construction.\u00c2\u00a0 What should have been a fun, exciting drive in 11 hours turned into a 15 hour beating.\u00c2\u00a0 In fact, I had wanted to write on Friday night, but I just did not see the humor in it yet.\u00c2\u00a0 So we picked up the car, said bye to the old one, went to the hotel, and slept.\u00c2\u00a0 However, not before ordering a pizza from Lou Malanati’s.\u00c2\u00a0 That was all I wanted to see of Chicago that night.\u00c2\u00a0 Deep dish.\u00c2\u00a0 And let me tell you, it was great!\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
